Called several HVAC companies through Home Advisor. Expert Mechanical estimate was less expensive by more than half the others. Met with Seth on Tuesday to assess the job. New boiler installed Friday morning, (had to order unit otherwise would have been done sooner). Removal of old unit & installation of new unit completed in under 1 1/2 hours. He even hung around another 1/2 hour to make sure everything was working properly. Very professional, curious, cost effective & quality craftsmanship to say the least. Gave 5 stars but only because that is the highest rating, Would rate a 10.

Each time I called he answered the phone, very rare to have this take place in today's contractor environment. I needed a water heater installed quickly in my condo rental and Seth made it happen. He called me right after I clicked to find a pro, which was 8:30 in the evening and he was at the condo the next morning and had it installed by noon. Very pleasant person to work with. I am out of state and he made this transaction very quick and smooth. AND, his price was over $600 less than the company's that checked the heater and told me it needed to be replaced. Seth came to my home and explain ,what needed to be done.How much it was going to cost and loan me a temporary boiler until they installed my New Indirect water heater.Him and the Workers were great. While in my home the workers notice that a valve needed changing they explained what would happened if We kept it longer so they changed it. I am very happy with the work and will use him again.I felt they were honest and skillful!!!

We hired Seth, at Expert Mechanical to install a new high-efficiency, Hayden hydroponic heating system throughout our entire home, with multiple heating zones and corresponding thermostats for our one-level, ranch style house in Spring Glen, NY. At the same time, we hired Seth to do extensive plumbing work, replacing a number of rusted out pipes in our basement, and installing a new water pressure tank. We found Seth on HomeAdvisor, and saw that he was highly rated. We had nothing else to go off of so we were really hoping it worked out. I m so happy to say, he could not have done a better job. Seth is personable while remaining professional, highly highly responsive to communication. He makes himself available for questions and is willing to even pull over in his car and take an urgent call, to give you his full attention. He s willing to come check on things at the house if needed, without any problem. I never get the feeling that we are bothering him, or that he is put out in any way. Seth is helpful, courteous, and reliable. Let me tell you about the heating system he put in, it is a game-changer. We are so happy with this system. It is light on the electric and light on the propane, and it heats our home evenly. One big concern I had was that we would have cold patches and patches that are overheated. Not at all. The heat is evenly distributed, reliable, and just a wonderful update to our home. This was the right system to buy and the right person to install it with. We lucked out. The fact that Seth could also do such extensive plumbing work at the same time as a testament to his range of skills. We needed a few pipes replaced and paid Seth to do that and also install a new water pressure tank. Seth s pricing is very fair, and without me even asking, he went above and beyond and did significant additional plumbing work without charging us more. Yes we had paid him for the plumbing, but he did beyond what we paid him just out of kindness. He also threw in some repairs to the hot water tank, which he both identified and corrected without us having to ask him. Also no charge for this part, just as a thank you for doing business with him. The work he did is high-quality and it has changed our quality of life in our home. Even now, after all the work is completed, Seth continues to be responsive to calls and is willing to come by on very short notice if anything urgent comes up. I just couldn t be happier with Expert Mechanical and with Seth. I highly highly recommend them.
